My sister is taken out of respirator

Great news today from my home country. My sister is taken out of respirator and she is breathing with her lungs. She is conscious and she does not take any sedatives. Yes, she still have an oxygen mask but that is okay. She is a fighter and she will beat the coronavirus. At present her condition is stable meaning a good blood pressure, 95% oxygen in blood and vital organs function as they are supposed to.

It wasn't easy. Last week was critical, she almost lost it. I did not want to write about it, my daughter was with me because I was also so depressed. I love my twin sister so much. Last week was the worst week of my life. This isolation coupled with worries about her medical condition and seeing her in such position being completely helpless was really terrible.

She still have a fever, the pneumonia is still there. It takes a lot of time to get rid of pneumonia and she has to remain cautions. I believe everything will be fine.

Everyday at 7:30 pm I go on balcony and applaud for support of medical workers. Here at High Park a lot of people go out and we make really loud noise. I heard this is done in europian countries as well but here in Toronto not all neighborhoods do this. I am glad I live at High Park.

I would like to say thank you to all medical staff, doctors, nurses, cleaners and others for their work in this crisis. It is not so easy, people are scared, most of them do not come on time but with already deeply developed sickness. Medical staff are real heroes of this time.

That is the biggest news for today. I just finished my work, logged off, and I am about to start today's yoga practice. It is 9th practice in this month.

So, how do you like my new blog layout? I made it to be a modern dark background with light text. I like it and I will keep it for some time.
