The Way of Humanity

The Colosseum is an amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum.

It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age.

Construction began under the emperor Vespasian 72AD and was completed in 80 AD under his successor  Titus.

Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian.

The three emperors who were patrons of the work are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named the Flavian Amphitheatre...

The Colosseum represents the power, brilliance, and brutality of the Roman Empire.

What took place on stage were systematic killing of hundreds of thousands animals and people.

It is a grim reminder of the violence and cruelty that is core to the history of the Colosseum, the Roman Empire and our civilization

The marvel of the Colosseum has made me wonder of the present day that owns so much of that ancient Rome.

It makes me wonder of goals and  milestones of the humanity as a whole.
