New day is starting and the sun is rising. Lets write this morning about old age, something what comes after 60s.
I don't respect old people
Not because they are old, forgetful and helpless, not because of that. I simply don't respect them because they have wasted their precious life on trivialities, useless work and useless knowledge, covering their bullshit existence with self-importance, envy, gossip, grid and worries, living and now dying with fears.
Growing old does not mean growing in understanding! They were ignorant all their life about the most important subject, they have never paid any attention to who they are.
Couple years ago, a medical nurse in palliative care (a hospital place for dying) had collected the major regrets of those dying patients. The vast majority of them indicated that they regret of working so hard, not having friends, not doing what they like etc... not a single one mention the regret of not finding out who he is.
No wonder, seniors are afraid of both, life and death
Their entire existence was/is unfounded. Everything what they believed in proved to be untrue. Their knowledge, their life was bogus because they didn’t have right questions, they were only repeating things, parrot-like.
It's a sad thing, but it is inevitable fact - the old people lived in ignorance and they are now dying in ignorance.
In their life they did not search for peace, love, God, for something that carries the name 'truth'. All their life they were waiting to something advantageous for them. They were not looking for truth, but in fact they merely wanted comfort, which they
wanted to last forever. But, nothing, no state of mind, can provide "forever."
They were holding on to the need for a testimony, an authority. God for them was/is a reward for good behavior, a prize for passing life tests but truth is nearer than the mind and the body, nearer than their self-sense. They missed seeing it because they looked too far away from themselves, searching for things outside their innermost being.

God for them was/is a reward for good behavior, a prize for passing life tests but truth is nearer than the mind and the body, nearer than their self-sense. They missed seeing it because they looked too far away from themselves, searching for things outside their innermost being.
And the funniest thing of all this is they were never needed to know who or what they are, it was enough to know what they are not.
Now... who cares?
There was no need for any knowledge
The useless knowledge has been poured upon us by others, and we are carrying a load of it. The load is such that it will not give us any opportunity to inquire on our own.
We think we know things. We found it somewhere, in the Bible or in the science, our questions are answered, our quest is finished. All that we have has came outside of us; it is not ours, it's not our discovery. The knowledge that is not ours discovery is not real knowledge.
The search for truth is really the search for reality of our being. It is not really question of knowledge and understanding. We cannot understand ourselves because then it is we (who understand) and our being (that is to be understood) so duality is still here. We have to be!
Once we have touched our being, we are the whole world. For that we need to be brave, not to be afraid of ourselves.
There can be no compromise, no cheap borrowed knowledge. Socrates was condemned for corrupting people, and all he was doing was asking questions and removing borrowed knowledge and helping his disciples to see the falseness of their beliefs, and to be themselves - “to know thyself.”
"I am" is the greatest miracle in the world
It is the only thing worth investigating. "I am" is everything, it is the awareness of presence and the presence of awareness. But these juggling words will not help anyone, "I am" sense must be studied and understood while having full strength and stamina for life.
For old people, Elvis has left the building, it is too late.
